Joseph Hammond was born and raised in Kerikeri. He moved to Auckland to further his education and interests in the arts and recently graduated from Elam School of Fine arts.
The works in 'X' deal with biculturalism and identity within New Zealand through iconographic symbols. They are a combination of abstract and figurative which deliver a visual experience through illusionism and expressive mark making.
Exhibition opening Saturday 27th March at 2pm.
