Chatham Island Wild Food & Music Festival

With only 600 people on the island this event is one of the biggest events held and preparations are in progress for the 2010 festival. With over 10 stalls set up under cover on the Norman Kirk Reserve the day will feature music and activities for all the family. A mix of community groups and chefs will serve up quality tasting food with wine and beer to compliment. And of course, you will be able to celebrate food with a Chatham Island flair. The entertainment at this year's event was such a success, including a local and NZ band which swung the festival into the early evening. We are already on the way to booking some great entertainment for next years event.
