Just 30 minutes on the Southern Motorway, visit the country town of Pokeno.
The country market is held every Sunday from 9am till 4pm - so no need to rush.
Pokeno is famous for Pokeno bacon and icecream! Opposite is the country market - so pick up an icecream and wander amongst up to 90 stalls displaying an eclectic array of handmade jewellery, fresh vegetables & fruit, flowers & plants, old fashioned sweets & fudge to die for, artworks & woodwork, carboot & bric-a-brac, organic meat, handmade candles & soap and, even the Rawleigh's lady!
