Meshuggah - NZ Tour

Meshuggah will be returning to New Zealand for two shows in March 2010:

Mar. 03 Wellington, New Zealand - SFBH
Mar. 04 Auckland, New Zealand - Transmission Room

A truly lateral-thinking force genuinely dedicated to pushing the boundaries of extreme music, Meshuggah have spent the last twenty years developing and exploring their metric art. It’s never shocking to see some of the biggest names in metal standing in the wings at Meshuggah shows shaking their heads at the band’s diversions of standard 4/4 time.

"ObZen" is their newest offering and one thing is for sure: expect the unexpected. From a band that has only released classic albums since their debut in 1999 "ObZen" is once again a masterpiece of diversity and surprises.

Meshuggahs sheer power combined with the ridiculousness of their musicianship (they were constantly headbanging and I still had no idea what they were counting for most of the songs) is pretty much transfixing.

This show will sell out fast, snooze and lose - youve been warned! R18 event.
