Formerly known as The Havana Club, La Paz Funk is the latest musical incarnation of percussionist Tim Ebeling and DJ Jason Kyle. Originally teaming up in Queenstown, this duo have traded their mountains for beaches and made the move north, bringing with them a unique sound and the legacy of some damn good parties!
La Paz Funk branches out across the musical spectrum, exploring both traditional and contemporary influences, weaving through genre and tempo. Afrobeat, Latin, Downtempo, Nu Jazz, Brokenbeat, House, Funk & Soul all layered within the sweet, sweet sound of live drums.
