More than 1,400 secondary school students in 38 choirs from 26 schools around the region will be taking part in the 2010 Wellington Region BIG SING (NZ Choral Federation’s Secondary Schools' Choral Festival), Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 June.
The recitals will be adjudicated by James Tibbles, Associate Head of Performance at Auckland University’s School of Music. Daytime sessions are free.
Selected choirs from the Wellington Festival will be invited to attend the BIG SING National Finale to be held in Auckland in August.
