Textile and fashion historian Leimomi Oakes will present a entertaining and informative talk on the way Greek and Roman art and fashion have influenced Western fashion from the 18th century to the 20th.
The talk will be illustrated by 11 models in historically accurate recreations of period attire - from a 1770s robe a la francaise to a 1930s evening gown
Proceeds to benefit the Wellington Free Ambulance
The talk will be fascinating, and the frocks will be fabulous, and best of all, you get to support a really great cause - it should be an event to remember!
