Come to Capital E and explore the magical stories and power of Tāwhirimātea – the god of wind and weather. There will be storytelling with Woody Tuhiwai (of the Wellington Improvisation Troupe), parachute games, fun displays and craft making, including making paper helicopters and windsocks. There'll even be a giant wind machine on the Capital E main floor so you can test your craft creations against the elements. Everyone’s welcome and it’s free! With activities for children two years and up, this is the perfect way for families to celebrate windy Wellington during Matariki.
