Acoustic Cafe

Monthly original music event in a cafe vibe.

This month at Nourish Cafe we'll have an entourage of local artists performing original material.

Paul Haines is a local guitar player who has is writing instrumental music for the guitar, with accompaniment from friends. Having seen Paul play at the Sunday Jam at The Rocks his highly rhythmic music struck me and I asked him to play a set of his own tunes at the next Acoustic Cafe. Very happy to have him along.

Also, Katy Soljak will be returning after filling in at the last minute for April's acoustic cafe, where she was accompanied by Guitar virtuoso Doug Jerebine. This time Katy will be playing an intimate solo set of her own songs. We welcome her experience, voice and artistry back for a planned spot.

Finally The Dust, fronted by long time island resident, Jett Powers, will feature band members from the mainland. The Dust have been busy recording a new album and we look forward to a rare island performance of this long time trio.
