Seek

The latest exhibition to open at Expressions titled Seek is a collaborative project featuring three leading contemporary New Zealand artists: Dion Hitchens, James Ormsby and Bill Riley.

The artists work in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, installation and multimedia. Seek includes an installation in the form of a large black box which acts as a gallery within the gallery. The box provides a unique perspective from which to view art, encouraging visitors to think about how they access information

The installation is interactive, in order to view the art work displayed inside of the box visitors must peer through peep holes in the walls. Inside the box is a selection of works including sculpture, drawings and paintings.
