Redmond Barry Theatre Company proudly presents Stephen Belber's 'Tape'.
Couches, wine, red light and confessions. Tape at The Wine Cellar in St. Kevin's Arcade is a transformative theatre piece created by new directing talent Romy Hooper and stars Devlin Bishop and Paul MacDiarmid.
Jon Hasn't Seen Vince in years. The old friends finally reunite for a friendly beer in a bombed out motel room in central Auckland.
But Vince has one simple question for Jon. And they're not leaving until he gets his answer.
"There are some things one doesn't forget..."
Tape examines sex, motive, memory and guilt in a relentless 60 minutes of suspense and soul-searching.
Performed at The Wine Cellar, Redmond Barry Theatre Company presents a groundbreaking work, transforming the space like you've never seen it.
"Fascinating and entertaining…a terrific play…Real talk, real characters, real situations—a real play." - NY Post.
"Tape is a sordid and beautiful take on human relationships." - Show Weekly.
