Yes, this fun filled day is on again. Book Sunday 27 June 2010 in your diary and make sure you don't miss all the fun. There are duathlons for every ability and lots of fun and prizes to be had. All races are recommended for anyone aged 13 years and over.

Walkers are encouraged so don't think you have to be a runner to take part. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could event get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there. Team entries only pay per person so there are no hidden costs.

Don't hold back this Winter and get involved in this great event. Don't forget if your running or walking shoes are looking a bit shabby go and see Matt and his team at the Shoe Clinic in Napier and they will ensure you are all good to go! Who knows this might be the beginning of something big for you?

• The More FM Duathlon:
This is an entry level distance suitable for anyone aged 12 and over. It is all flat and there is no chance you can get lost. You wont ever be far from the race transition and finish line so no worries there.

The run or walk is 3km, then a 10km cycle finished off with another run or walk of 1.5km.

• The Hub Duathlon:
This duathlon is a little longer but still suited for those new to the sport, those just starting to get fit and those who have not had a chance to train too much over winter.

The run or walk is 5km, the cycle is 20km (lap course) and the final run or walk is 2.5km.

• The Clive Hotel Duathlon
This is the biggy! Don't take this event too lightly as you will need to train for this. The run is 10km which is followed by a hilly 36km cycle around the Tuki Tuki Valley. To top this off you have to do a 5km run.

We do not recommend this event for children and ask that you ensure that your fitness is such that you can cope with the course. Don't forget it will be mid winter so you need to dress up warm and enjoy the amazing scenery of the Tuki Tuki Valley.

You have the option of downloading entry forms and posting them in with a cheque (Make sure you put an e-mail address so we can e-mail you all the maps and confirmation of your entry) but an even better idea is to enter events online through this website. That way you get immediate confirmation that you are entered and you know you are in the correct race or category and also you don't have to worry about stamps and envelopes all all that stuff?

We try to keep our event fees as low as we can and therefore can not absorb the cost of this service. So the cost to this service is $3 on top of the entry fee, but as our events are so cheap anyway I am sure you will agree that $3 is a small price to pay for such a large convenience.
