Across the Bridge of Sighs is Laurence Aberhart's 7th exhibition at the Brett McDowell Gallery. Employing a 100 year old 8 x 10" Korona camera, Aberhart's images have become entwined with the unspoken feeling of New Zealand's culture, sometimes broodingly gothic, oftentimes melancholy, but always seeking to reflect that undefinable 'other'.
