This is a retrospective of Beverly’s work from 1995. Beverly was inspired by Janet Frame’s faith in art.
“I am always challenged by the blank surface to create a work harmonious and pleasing to myself and the viewer.”

Beverly Rae attended Elam School of fine arts in the 1960s, majoring in painting.
She also studied at Epsom Teachers’ College and taught throughout New Zealand and Australia. She later undertook further study, graduating with a BA in English Literature.
