Voyager Speaker Series - Glen Sowry

In partnership with the Sir Peter Blake Trust and to celebrate Leadership Week 2010, Voyager is holding a special Speaker Series event with Glen Sowry, the 2005 Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award winner.

Glen Sowry is the General Manager of Trans Tasman Airlines at Air New Zealand and his corporate career also spans roles with TVNZ and Telecom. Prior to that, Glen was a Whitbread Round the World yachtsman and a member of the successful Steinlager 2 campaign with Sir Peter Blake. He also helmed the back up boat for the New Zealand Challenge for the America’s Cup in 1991/92.

Glen will talk about his experience of leadership and team work whilst sailing competitively, and how he has applied lessons learned in this high pressure environment throughout his successful career.

Admission is free, however a suggested $5.00 donation per person would be appreciated. All admissions proceeds will be donated to the Sir Peter Blake Trust
