Bizet: Carmen Suite No.1
Lalo: Symphonie Espagnol
Ravel: Rapsodie Espagnol

Spain has inspired some of the world’s favourite pieces of music, including Bizet’s suite from his opera Carmen, and Ravel’s mesmerising Bolero. This concert is also an opportunity to hear the winner of the 2009 Michael Hill International Violin Competition playing a work full of fire and showmanship, Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnol.

Tickets can be booked the week of a concert from THE EDGE box office, online at www.the-edge.co.nz or by phoning 0800 buy tickets (subject to availability and booking fee, proof of age will be required).
