This will be the first Dying of The Light performance since Stonerfest '09. We will be debuting new material, along with a reworking of an old 'Chapel of Gristle' number (the predecessor to DOTL that Rangi and I were in Christchurch in the mid '90s) as well as a surprise cover tune. http://www.myspace.com/dyingofthelightnz

It will also only be the second Arc of Ascent show in Auckland since Stonerfest '09 and first with new guitarist Sandy Schaare. Additionally, this will be the debut show for Shallow Grave. These guys have been shaking the walls in the rehearsal room next to us for the last year and are itching to finally hit the stage. I believe they'll have a myspace page up pretty soon so you can go check em out!
