The GreatPlate is the annual fundraising event for the Quarry Arts Centre. All funds raised go towards the re-development of the Quarry Arts Centre and Yvonne Rust Gallery.
What is the GreatPlate?
A hand-selected list of 100 artists and ceramicists have been invited to create an original work of art on 100 blank handmade GreatPlates. Artists donate their time and creations which we exhibit in the Yvonne Rust Gallery from the 1st July to 3rd August 2010. The one-of-a-kind GreatPlate creations will then be auctioned to raise funds for the redevelopment of the Yvonne Rust Gallery on site.
By creating a GreatPlate’s or bidding on a GreatPlate you will help the Quarry Arts Centre to continue Nurturing the Creative Sprit of Northland.
