Treasure Island is an all-singing, all-dancing, back-flipping, rope-swinging, hilarious family adventure show that many have called ‘the greatest family show they’ve ever seen’. After receiving incredible acclaim following the show's premiere season in 2009, Treasure Island is back - and this time it’s better than ever.
Taking the helm in the role of director is Shortland Street star Alison Quigan, better known for playing receptionist Yvonne Jeffries on the popular soap. After directing the premiere season of Treasure Island in 2009, Alison has once again accepted the challenge of creating a spectacular school holiday show for the entire family.
Treasure Island is more than a children’s show - it’s a family show. With multi-layered humour and a cast of gifted professional actors, it’s just as much fun for Mum and Dad. After all, they deserve to be entertained too – they’re the ones paying for the ticket!
Join young Jim Hawkins and his comical companions as they sail the seven seas, racing the dastardly Long John Silver and his band of bloodthirsty pirates, to find the hidden fortune of Treasure Island!
Parking:
A large car park is situated right outside TAPAC; just be there early as many people park there and head to the zoo.
