One of the Capital Blues club’s objectives is to promote interest in the blues and roots music. The jam night offers the opportunity for players of all abilities and styles to get up and play with the house band.
Tonight the house band is: Maurice Philips (drums), George Barris (bass), and Cindy Muggeridge (keyboards).
We've seen some talented singers and guitarists taking to the stage and it’s great to see this happening. Long may it continue as it’ll keep the blues alive.
As usual, our thanks to the kind folk at the Lower Hutt Rock Shop for sponsorship and the use of one of their guitar amps for the night.
