Sally Blyth is one of the artists contributing work to the Mask Exhibition, Masquerade-Elements of Disguise, at the Upstairs Gallery 5-29 August, 2010. She travels to Venice to do research and has amassed a great deal of information and images about masks of all descriptions, their history, the Venetian Carnivale, ethnic masks, masks with a purpose and more...
This is consolidated into a fascinating presentation which provides an insight into the world of masks. The presentation includes photos and real mask examples. It is informative, visually pleasing and relevant to adults and children alike.
