This Auckland Youth Orchestra concert is conducted by Peter Thomas and will be performed at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell.

Described as towering, majestic, commanding and bursting with passion and energy, Elgar's Enigma Variations are seen as the epitome of English musical nationalism.

Mandeno: Phantasmagoria
Mozart: Clarinet Concerto
Bruch: Violin Concerto
Elgar: Enigma Variations

Soloists are Rowan Meade (clarinet) and Richard Chen (violin).

Phantasmagoria is composed by Jonathan Mandeno, AYO Composer in Residence 2010.

$20 adult/ $15 senior/ $10 student/ $5 child
Family discounts: 3 for $30, 4 for $40, etc.
