A fusion of urban reggae and soul, with many layers and sounds, setting a youthful feel good sound, for young and old.

Whether it’s played in the background to set a relaxing atmosphere, or standing front and centre with the music moving through you, The Foundation are the next big thing for this summer season.

Foundation is headed by one of New Zealand's most in demand hip hop & RnB producers and widely regarded as one of the best musicians in New Zealand, multi-instrumentalist John Chong Nee.

He has also produced songs for many New Zealand artists including Che Fu, Dei Hamo, PNC, Dave Dobbyn, AKA Brown, House of Shem and the Deceptikonz.

The group is based out of the hearty West Auckland featuring, John Chong-nee, Joshua Perkins, Antony (rahxx) Rako, Jamie Leaf, Pere Watene, Mansel Watene, and Rob Mei. Foundation is a band of brothers drawn together by their love of music.

With music in their veins, these like minded musicians are ready for the voyage with Chong Nee leading the way, as Foundation are on the up.
