We want a cool mascot for Te Manawa and we want your ideas!

All you have to do is...

Download and print an entry form from the Te Manawa website.

Draw or design what you think would be a good mascot to represent Te Manawa.

Te Manawa has a museum, science centre and art gallery. How would your mascot reflect this? Ideas to get you started could be:

What is an animal native to the Manawatū?
Should the mascot be an artist, a scientist or a mixture of both?

Or, your mascot could be a robot, alien or a magical creature of your own design...

Bring your entry into Te Manawa before 5pm on Sunday 1 August

Age categories: 7 & under, 8 - 12 and 13 - 18 years.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in each age category + overall prize
Individual prizes include vouchers of up to $200 in value for Dick Smith or Toyworld.

Prize values differ between age categories.

The competition will be judged by Te Manawa and winners announced on
Monday 16 August.

Winners will be announced in local press and on the Te Manawa Website.
