-- What is Shift?

Shift is a festival style party based on its illegal rave roots.

Basically, it's like a house party for 1000 people...
The last Shift sold out with around 400 people turned away! This is one crazy party!

A combination of one of the coolest venues in town, loads of indoor/outdoor areas to socialize and meet people in, live art, shisha, games rooms, music, graffiti, communal art walls, candy floss and good times...all without a ridiculous price tag.

-- What actually goes on there?

Obviously... the DJs, sound, lighting and VJs seen at every other gig in Auckland, but so much more:

- 3 floors, and a massive outdoor area, hosting over 1000 friendly festive people on an adventure through 6 different themed areas!

- More decorations and theming than any club event out there
- Live artists including graffiti and body painting
- Mainstage customised for Shift
- UV room
- Firedancers
- PS3 and Xbox games area
- The 'Tunnel of Light'
- A whole area set up like a big student flat/house party
- Chillout areas
- Plenty of seating!
- Communal art areas
- Body painter
- Massage corner

- Heated outdoor area including (note: if it is raining, some of these may not come to fruition)

- Shisha area
