Iva comes from a soul and jazz background with a touch of underground hip hop, but she prefers to call her style ‘street soul’.
This outstanding Wellington singer-song writer is a Kiwi with Samoan and Chinese heritage. She writes her own lyrics and finds melodies that match her soulful sounds, beliefs and original sense of fashion. Her voice is something special, with a rich tone that makes you sit up and take notice.
Iva is an all round performer who not only sings and writes, but also plays guitar and drums. She is backed by her outstanding band of top Wellington musicians Caleb Robinson (Bass), Andy Mauafua (Guitar), James Illingworth (Keyboards), Darren Mathiassen (Drums).
