Originally known for their Celtic sound, Cairde’s repertoire now truly encompasses contemporary acoustic music, including songs from New Zealand and overseas, as well as traditional Irish songs.
Collectively, Cairde produces beautiful harmonies and their original arrangements set their music apart and make it unique. Evey McAuliffe, Carol Rose, Sarah Lewis, Anna Heinz and Kate Sherwood are talented musicians in their own right and share their deep love of music. 'Cairde – for the love of it!' promises to be a great opportunity to enjoy Cairde’s music, both collectively and individually, in the wonderful ambience of the Nelson School of Music Auditorium.
