Kiwi Icons - Larry Morris and Shane

Two of New Zealand’s iconic music entertainers are ready to hit the stage together one more time.
Larry Morris and Shane Hales will perform as part of the Kiwi Icons show at the Henderson RSA on Sat 10th July.

They say they’ll perform a number of their own hits, such as Saint Paul, Everybody’s Girl, Let’s Think of Something and I Feel Good.

Performing with an all-star band, Morris and Hales will also go back in time and pull out some classics from the 1960s, such as Stand by Me, Jumpin’ Jack Flash and Whiskey in the Jar.

Lovers of Kiwi music will remember Morris from his first band, Larry’s Rebels, and Shane from his regular television appearances on the top-rated show C’mon in the 1960s.

Shane says the audience is in for a good time and a trip down memory lane.

“They can expect a lot of fun and a lot of memories,” he says.

Morris adds: “They can even sing along if they want.”

Performing with Morris and Hales is their all-star band, comprising a number of well-known New Zealand musicians.

Tickets for the Kiwi Icons show on Friday July 10th at 7pm cost $10 and can be booked by phoning the Henderson RSA on 838 9012, or paying at the door on the night.
