A woman, a man, & a penguin - Theatre of the Antarctic.
Heat is a searing love story. In the confines of their tiny Antarctic hut, a research couple hunkers down to winter over in the frozen immensity of the Ross Ice Shelf.
It will take you right to the edge, Heat is a stunning and unbelievably powerful play about isolation, love and the beauty of the Antarctic environment. Echoing the real life restrictions of survival on the Ice, the show is completely powered by alternative energy.
“a remarkable piece of theatre” John Smythe, Theatreview
Presented as a part of the Fuel Festival 2010.
The premier showcase of New Zealand Theatre, The Fuel Festival celebrates our stories, and brings to Hamilton a diverse range of performances, workshops and seminars across 11 days.
24 June - 4 July 2010.
