The Flab Four

Maybe you were still at school when the Beatles were still touring or maybe you were yet to be a twinkle in someone’s eye but in either case, when you see and hear The Flab Four you will come as close as possible to experiencing the sound and the excitement of the Beatles as a live band.

The Flab Four song list is comprised of approximate 30 songs all of which have been on million selling albums or singles and over half of which have been worldwide #1 hits but the real strength of the band is the uncanny accuracy with which they play the songs. From the opening bars of “She Loves You” to the anthemic harmonies of “Paperback Writer” the Flab Four’s sound has proven close enough to the real thing to have fooled many local music industry gurus and their on-stage persona captures the hilarity and bravado of the original band in an unforced and natural way.

The Flabs consist of '60s high school band mates Jim Hall and Jay Peters on lead guitar and bass respectively, Simon Darke on rhythm guitar and Paul Matthews on drums.
