“BRMC’s full-on assault of the senses from the stage, mixing fog and strobe lights, sweeping mini-floods and, of course, the three-person wall of sound led by bassist Robert Levon Been and guitarist Peter Hayes (and ex-Ravonette Leah Shapiro)… the power trio.” Los Angeles Times March 2010

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club return to New Zealand for the first time in seven years to make a series of exclusive performances. While BRMC's live vitality and energy remains at the same awe-inspiring level displayed on their last New Zealand performance in 2003; musically — they have a new story to tell.

It's the story of a band who have played together for twelve years. It's the story of a band who have released five acclaimed albums. It's the story of a band who with hundreds of live shows under their belt still remain dangerously excited about music. It's the story of a band still captivated by the escapist power of music and the imagery it can evoke in the listeners mind.

Beat The Devil's Tattoo is music from the modern day frontiers, bar-stoops and street corners of America; and BRMC can't wait to share it and other precious gems from their past catalogue with us again.

The band are touring to promote their latest full-length album release, Beat The Devil's Tattoo and to help them do so they have hand-selected support acts The Checks (to play Auckland show) and The Transistors to play the Wellington and Christchurch shows.

On all NZ dates they will have Dan Mancini from the legendary Mancini 500 spinning the finest of the black stuff on the decks.

Past performances and live reviews demand that you do not miss these shows!

“a showing of some serious stomping, rootsy, garagey, no-frills rock ‘n’ fucking roll…. BRMC quite simply killed it” – musiczetgeist.com March 2010
