Cambridge Repertory Society proudly presents, in association with Play Bureau and Samuel French Ltd, Patrick Hamilton's perennial favourite.
Bella Manningham sits alone at night while her abusive and philandering husband goes out. So who is walking about upstairs and why does the gas light dim every evening? Bella doubts her sanity. Into her life comes ex-Inspector Rough, telling a tale of murder and robbery. Can she believe him or is he just a figment of her deluded imagination.
Drama and humour mix in this well loved play from the author of Rope.
Tickets from Wright's Booksellers, Victoria St.
