Uncut Comedy

"Back so soon?!" I hear you cry. Well, actually I don't - I'm just speculating. But yes, after our fantastically successful inaugural show in June, we're bringing you another fun-filled evening of live stand-up comedy at the Academy!

The show will once more feature a great selection of Auckland-based comedians, top amateurs and pros alike - half are fresh off the stage of this year's New Zealand International Comedy festival! We'll also have a brill MC who'll guide you through the dangerously contagious laughter-quarantine-zone that is Uncut Comedy. With luck they'll use less strained metaphors than that one too.

Also, there's chances to win cinema tickets - art house ones - so you can feel really highbrow.

As before, tickets are $10 - this includes a free drink. There's cheap drinks all night - so you've got no excuse not to laugh. Unless you're a recovering alcoholic. You can buy/reserve tickets from the Academy Cinema box office right now.

Our show is in the large auditorium of the Academy Cinema which can be found beneath the Auckland Central Library building on Lorne Street, about 42 seconds walk from the intersection of Queen/Wellesley Street. Or approximately 59 seconds with an uncomfortable stone in your shoe.
