Huntingtower String Orchestra from Melbourne is touring New Zealand with world acclaimed soloists Prudence Davis (Principal Flute, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra) and Jeffrey Crellin (Principal Oboe MSO).

Huntingtower is a premier music school in Australia, and members of its orchestra are holders of coveted awards for chamber music, including the Victorian Secondary Students' Chamber Music Award on 10 occasions! Its past students are now performing in the Melbourne Sympony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Symphony.

Concerts on this tour feature a wonderful variety of classical and lighter music, including Greig's Holberg suite, Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons with soloist Prudence Davis, Marcello's Concerto in C Minor for Oboe, featuring Jeffrey Crellin on oboe, with some Irish folk tunes and a little fun from American composer Leroy Anderson!
