Among the singles’, ‘Sitting inside my head’, ‘Can’t get enough’ and ‘You gotta know’.
Che’s debut solo album ‘2b S.Pacific’ was released in 1997. ‘Chains’ went straight to number one on the New Zealand singles charts, and stayed there for 5 consecutive weeks. ‘Chains’ reached Platinum sales and was the landmark single that brought New Zealand Hip Hop to mass attention.
In 2001, Che released the follow-up album ‘Navigator’. ‘Navigator’ debuted at number one, stayed there for 3 successive weeks and achieved 4 times Platinum. It featured the singles ‘Fade away’, ‘Random’, and the APRA Silver Scroll winning ‘Misty frequencies’.
