Midnite Xpress

Taupo Band, Midnite Xpress is a three piece group. They play a variety of music from RnB, Reggae, Rock, Country etc. Lance Murch is an international, brilliant lead guitarist, who teaches his College students on a daily basis, when not gigging.

Marilyn Kingi is the female vocalist, she has the role for both lead and backing vocals for Kiwi showcases that tours overseas throughout the year and has recorded 3 cover CDs.

Singer songwriter, David Wall is the younger member of the band and has a soulful delicious voice. David is hoping to release his first covers CD next year, as well as his first original.

Between them, they have alot of experience in the Music Industry and with the mixture of old school and Davids youthful enhancements,they are able to cater for all ages. Midnite Xpress is not a band to be missed and will keep you dancing all night long.

There is a Touch Tournament on all weekend in Whakatane and The Whakatane Hotel will be Rockin on Saturday 9th January.
