Wine, Women & Song

An intimate jazz cabaret and wine tasting, under marquee on the grounds of Tauhara Sunrise Lodge, 38 Mapara Road, Acacia Bay. Artists are Monica Louis and Sarah Bradley (host of TV1's Good Morning).

Monica Louis has performed in Lima, London, Paris, Monaco, Nice, Cannes and Brussels, as well as at festivals in New Zealand including Waiheke Island, Whangamata Jazz Festival, Coromandel Puhutukawa Festival and the Taranaki Rhododendron Festival. She studied jazz vocals at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and at London’s Wigmore Hall. She has toured Europe with her own trio and band as well as with the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Sarah Bradley spent 10 years in New York City where she studied musical theatre and performed cabaret and jazz at many of the city’s hot spots like Don’t Tell Mama and Eighty Eights. She loves performing the Great American Songbook. Sarah currently hosts the Good Morning Show on TV1.

Kuratau River Wines and Martin Watt Wine will be on hand to offer tastings of their wines - Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose and Pinot Noir.
