A huge celebration of food, wine, arts and crafts, the Tairua Wine and Food festival is a ritual amongst holidaymakers in the Tairua and Pauanui area. Over 10,000 people flock to the festival each year. A huge array of food stalls, wine, beer, entertainment, fun for kids and of course stacks of arts and crafts stalls. NB Crafts stalls are all taken, please dont call to book one!
Ferry from Pauanui runs all day as does a bus service thru Tairua, by gold coin donation.
