Country comes to the City. For the first time in Nelson City history Speed Shears is an annual event.
With a great venue and atmosphere, over 70 sheep to be shorn and hopefully some New Zealand and maybe world records to be beaten. The Prince Albert Hotel, 113 Nile Street, Nelson has great food, indoor and outdoor bars, great music after the shearing and a chance for the city slickers to see what the country shearers can really do.
Don't miss the opportunity to be involved on the day. Major prize money for top shearers. If you shear get along and register on the day. If you just want a day out with a difference get yourself to the Prince Albert Hotel Nile St Nelson. See you there.
