An evening WWI Air Show at Hood Aerodrome, commemorating the 'Joyeux Noel' - the 24 hour Western Front ceasefire and celebration of Christmas Day by German and Allied soldiers of the Great War.
Original and replica WWI aircraft of Allied and German design will fly alongside eachother in tribute.
See the worlds only flying FE2b - the incredible 1915 day/night bomber; the original BE2f - the controversial British workhorse of the skies; the original Bristol F2b Fighter powered by the worlds oldest airworthy Rolls Royce aero-engine and witness the Air Show debut of the German Albatros D.Va and many, many more!
See The Vintage Aviator's amazing collection of Fighters, Bombers and Reconnaissance aircraft perform in a series of mock dogfights and handling displays. Free Vintage Vehicle rides are offered for the children prior to the show, full commentary and food stalls on site.
