The Steven Barry Trio at The Gables Tavern is proudly hosted by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club.

After studying in Sydney for the past year, pianist Steven Barry returns to the Gables with a new arsenal of standards and original compositions. His trio will cover a range of influences from Oscar Peterson to Lennie Tristano, Herbie Hancock and Brad Mehldau.

Steven will be joined by the formidable rhythm section of:

Tom Dennison - bass
Frank Gibson - drums
