Buy Farm fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, honey, olive oil, pickles, preserves, organic bread, coffee and more at the Christchurch Farmers Market.
Stallholders include Breadman Organic Bakery, Robinsons Bay Olive Oil, Dawn Harvest Organic Vegetables, Westwood Organic Chicken, Benzies Free Range Eggs, Taste (aioli and pesto), Canterbury Country (gluten free relishes, chutneys, jams etc), Sheehan Apiaries (honey), Aberfeldy Quince (quince pate and jelly), Chicken and Emu Farm, Delphi Lavender, Herbs and Flowers, Heathcote Valley Herbs, Ellerys Hazelnuts, Les Fromages and Gruff Junction Cheese, Radisol (extra virgin olive oil dressings), Succulents and She Chocolate.
Be entertained by musicians and gain some cooking tips from the cooking demonstrations. Make sure you come to the market with an empty stomach so you can sample the yummy bacon sandwiches from the gourmet breakfast bbq. After a visit to the Taste reviver station selling Hummingbird fair trade organic coffee, and freshly squeezed organic juice you will be set for the day!
