Take a Jungle Love Tour this Valentine's Day

Auckland Zoo is your ultimate location to share a unique and memorable Valentine's Day.

Heads and tails above the same old 'dinner and a movie', there's no better way to impress your Valentine this 14 February than with a Jungle Love Zoom tour.

Our Jungle Love tour guide will take you on a fascinating and novel tour of the zoo – a Valentine's celebration where you'll discover all about the love lives of the scaly and slimy, the furry and fanged, and the feathered and flightless!

These 90-minute guided tours will provide a light-hearted and unabashed look at the mystery of animal attraction, making stops at exhibits and gaining access to areas that are typically off-limited to the public. You will also have the opportunity to hand-feed the giraffe from our feeding platform.

After your tour, you are free to explore and enjoy the rest of the zoo.

Date: Sunday 14 February
Times: 10am – 11.30am and 12.30pm – 2pm
Group size: limited to 10 people
Age: Participants must be 18 years or older
What to bring: flat walking shoes and a sense of humour
Cost: $110 per couple – or $65 per individual. Includes your admission to the Zoo

Valentine's Breakfast - Surprise your special someone with a romantic breakfast for two at the new Willow View Deck (in the middle of the Zoo) before you embark on your tour. Breakfast will be served from 8.30am – 9.30am and is priced at $28 per person (incl GST). Menu is available on request. Tables are strictly limited so reserve your place now.
Please note - if you would like to book the Valentine's Breakfast on its own (without the Jungle Love Tour) an additiional charge for Zoo admission will be applied ($19 per person for adults). Friends of the Zoo members will be exempt from this admission charge.

Valentine's Picnic Lunch - Let your romantic side go wild and pre-book a special Valentine's Day Picnic lunch option from Darwin's. Bring your own rug, and grab a spot at our special reserved 'Lovebirds' area at Central Lawn. Picnic lunches must be pre-booked – with three options available.
