Want to get out into the wilderness with some great company? The Wellington Tramping & Mountaineering Club organises tramps of different difficulty every weekend, along with alpine climbing adventures, cycle trips and kayak odysseys. We also run basic bushcraft and more advanced instruction courses.

We’re a big, welcoming club; and a bit unusual in the tramping world, with the average age of active members being 30s. We meet up every Wednesday night to sign up for trips and to hear a presenter talking about a recent adventure.
