The MEANZ National Conference 2010: Engaging Communities will bring together international and national speakers to inspire you as practitioners and provide learning opportunities for how you might translate this theme into your own communities.
Keynote speakers include:

• Peter Mahony - Manager of Learning Technologies, Powerhouse Museum, Sydney
• David Arnold - Manager of Education, National Museum of Australia, and President of
National education specialists and practitioners to be confirmed shortly.
By sharing success stories and challenges, resources and skills, participants will have the opportunity to observe, engage, learn and contribute through a series of workshops, speakers, and activities.
There will be plenty of opportunities to network with your colleagues and see some of the best museums and galleries Wellington has to offer.
MEANZ is a professional organisation that provides support, professional development and advocacy for educational professionals working in museums, galleries and related organisations.
Conference places are limited and there is high demand for accommodation: please book as soon as possible.
