Tapu Te Ranga Marae continues to be built by unemployed Maori youth. It is a strong social, cultural, artistic and environmental statement. A by-product is the world's largest and tallest fully wooden house built of recycled materials. Living Maori in today’s world.
The biggest threat is fire. We’re fund raising for a sprinkler system.
