Thundering over the waves in a tunnel-hulled inflatable boat at high speeds, the Thundercats are exhilarating. Wellington hosts the fifth leg of the National Surfcross competition on Saturday and the second leg of the National Endurance races on Sunday where, conditions permitting, racers will cross Cook Strait and return.
