Heading into its sixth year the Sunset Coast Walk to be held on Sunday February 14 2010 is now a permanent fixture for the Waiuku Rotary Club. An hour out of Auckland. Just follow the road signs to 207 Kohekohe/Karioatahi Road.

Set over private farmland (no dogs please) walkers are exposed to extensive views along the west coast from Raglan to the Manukau Bar and over the Manukau Harbour.

This is not a race but a family day out on a 5 or 10km walk. Participants can register on the day any time between 7.30am and 1.00pm at $15 per adult, $5 for children over 5 to 13 and under 5 free.

Registration can be arranged by calling the phone numbers given or by emailing rotary@waiuku.com or you can register and pay on the day.

There will be a free sausage and cold drink provided on your return. Bring a picnic lunch, or purchase an extra sausage or two, and relax in this fresh country environment.

All funds raised on the day will go towards the Club's local Youth Projects.
