Wellington to Auckland Cycle Challenge

Start Upper Hutt on Sunday 14th February and Finish in Pukekohe on Saturday 20th February. Each day covers around 100km and generally split into 2 stages. You do not have to be a super cyclist just someone with a good basic fitness level and the dertermination to complete the ride. The age range in the 2009 event was 19 to 67. It is a fun friendly event that caters for the riders who want to compete hard in their age group or the riders who have their own personal challenge and just want to enjoy the 7 days. The course will take many people on roads that they have never been on before. The course use many back roads between the overnight towns, this help keep everyone away from the normal traffic..
It is fun and well worth the challenge.
