Producing Intelligible English in a Kiwi-English Environment
This course builds an awareness of individual pronunciation habits. It provides tools for effecting pronunciation changes that will result in a more intelligible speech and effective communication.
The course is taught by a highly experienced trained English language expert, in a relaxed group, with an individualised focus. A course pack is provided that include audio-based exercises for daily practice.
The course is designed to develop competence in:
* producing intelligent speech and communication in English
* understanding the Kiwi accent and use of English
* managing inidividual accents derived from original language and culture
This course is suitable for adults who:
* have an intermediate level of English competence
* are able to attend a 2 hour session per week for 5 weeks
* have access to a CD player at home
* are motivated to improve their job interview competencies
Course fee: $195 per participant, including the course materials and audio CD.
